Why Responsible Gaming Matters to BedPro

This isn't a legal checkbox for us. It's a genuine part of how we want BedPro to operate.

Let's be straight about it: the vast majority of BedPro players — from Karachi to Peshawar, Lahore to Quetta — use the platform the way it's meant to be used. A few hundred rupees on the cricket match, a Ludo session with friends on the weekend, some spins on the jackpot slots during lunch. Entertainment. Fun. Something to add a bit of edge to watching Pakistan bat.

But gambling can become a problem for some people. It doesn't announce itself with a warning — it creeps up gradually through increased stakes, longer sessions, chasing losses and money that was meant for other things being redirected to the account. BedPro knows this. And rather than looking the other way because problem gambling is commercially inconvenient to acknowledge, we've built a platform that actively tries to prevent it.

Every responsible gaming tool on BedPro — deposit limits, loss limits, session timers, reality checks, cooling-off periods, self-exclusion — is available to every player, at no cost, immediately, with no waiting period. These tools are built into the core of the platform, not hidden in a sub-menu somewhere. We want you to use them. We want you to stay in control. That's what keeps BedPro a platform that Pakistani players can trust long-term — not just a place that extracts money until players burn out.

Responsible gaming on BedPro is not about lecturing players or treating adults like they can't make their own decisions. It's about making sure that when a player wants help setting boundaries, the tools are there instantly. And when a player needs to step away entirely, BedPro makes that easy and enforces it seriously.

BedPro's Responsible Gaming Tools

All tools are free, available immediately from your account settings and take effect the moment you apply them. No waiting periods for activation — only for relaxing limits upward.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your BedPro account per day, per week or per month. Once you hit the limit, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Lowering the limit takes immediate effect. Raising it requires a 24-hour cooling-off period.

Set in Account Settings → Limits
Loss Limits

Set the maximum you're willing to lose in a given time period — daily, weekly or monthly. Once your net losses reach the limit, further gameplay is blocked until the period ends. This is one of the most effective tools for keeping sessions within your personal budget.

Set in Account Settings → Limits
Session Time Limits

Set a maximum session duration — from 30 minutes to several hours. When your session time runs out, BedPro logs you out automatically. Useful if you tend to lose track of time during a cricket match or a long Ludo tournament.

Set in Account Settings → Session
Reality Checks

Enable on-screen pop-up reminders at set intervals — every 30, 60 or 90 minutes — showing how long you've been playing and how much you've wagered in that session. A simple nudge that keeps you aware of what's happening without interrupting gameplay.

Set in Account Settings → Notifications
Cooling-Off Period

Take a short break from BedPro — 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days — without full self-exclusion. During the cooling-off period your account is suspended but your data is retained. You can return after the period ends if you choose to. No questions asked, no pressure.

Set in Account Settings → Take a Break
Self-Exclusion

The strongest tool available. Exclude yourself from BedPro for a minimum of 6 months, up to a permanent ban. During exclusion, your account is fully locked, marketing stops, and BedPro takes all reasonable steps to prevent re-registration. See Section below for full details.

How Self-Exclusion Works on BedPro

Self-exclusion is the most serious responsible gaming tool on BedPro. It's for players who feel they need a firm, enforced break — not just a gentler nudge.

Step 1
Contact BedPro Support
Reach out via live chat or email at support@bedpro.biz and request self-exclusion. State the period you want — 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanent. No explanation is required and no attempt will be made to talk you out of it.
Step 2 — Immediate
Account Suspended
Your BedPro account is suspended within minutes of the request being processed. All access is blocked. Outstanding bets are settled normally and the balance is refunded to your verified payment method.
Immediately After
Marketing Stops
All BedPro marketing communications — email, SMS, WhatsApp — are stopped immediately. BedPro will not send any promotional content during the exclusion period.
During Exclusion
Re-Registration Blocked
BedPro takes reasonable technical steps to prevent re-registration under the same identity during the exclusion period. Attempting to circumvent exclusion by registering under a different name is a breach of our Terms and Conditions.
At End of Period
Reinstatement Process
After the exclusion period ends, you may contact BedPro to reinstate your account. A 24-hour cooling-off confirmation is required. BedPro will not automatically reinstate any excluded account — the player must actively initiate the process.
Permanent Exclusion

If you choose permanent self-exclusion, BedPro will not reinstate your account under any circumstances. This decision is irreversible. We will only offer this option after confirming that this is your firm intention.

4

5
Segregated Funds

Recognising the Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling doesn't look the same in everyone. Below are the most common warning signs — in yourself and in someone you care about.

Signs to Watch in Yourself

You sit down to spend Rs 500 and end up depositing Rs 3,000. This is one of the earliest and most common signs that gaming has moved from entertainment to something more compulsive. The amount you planned to spend stops being the amount you actually spend, consistently.

Depositing again immediately after losing to try to win back what you lost is a textbook sign of problem gambling. The logic feels compelling — "I'm due a win" — but chasing losses almost always leads to larger losses. If you find yourself doing this regularly, it's time to use a loss limit or take a break.

When gaming starts to affect work, study, family time or sleep — that's a meaningful sign. Missing a meeting to place a bet, staying up until 3am on the live casino, skipping a family iftar — these are signals that the balance has shifted somewhere it shouldn't.

Dipping into rent money, grocery funds, emergency savings or money borrowed from family or friends is a serious indicator of problem gambling. If this is happening, please use the self-exclusion tool immediately and consider speaking to someone you trust about what's going on.

Thinking about gaming constantly when you're not playing, feeling anxious when you can't access your account, or feeling irritable when someone suggests you take a break — these emotional signs are important. Gambling is meant to be enjoyable. When it starts causing anxiety or distress, something has changed.

Signs to Watch in Someone You Know

Asking to borrow money frequently, struggling to cover basic bills, selling possessions without explanation — these can indicate that someone is funding a gambling habit. If you notice a pattern, a gentle and non-judgmental conversation is more helpful than confrontation.

Becoming defensive or secretive about their phone, quickly switching screens, or reacting badly when gaming is mentioned — these are social signs that something is being hidden. Problem gambling often involves hiding the extent of activity from family and friends.

Noticeably better moods after winning, severe low moods after losses, disproportionate emotional reactions to sports results — these mood patterns can indicate that gaming is playing a much larger role in the person's emotional state than is healthy.

Cancelling plans, missing family gatherings, declining to socialise in favour of staying home — particularly when this is a change from previous behaviour — can be a sign that gaming is taking over time that was previously spent with people they care about.

If you're concerned about someone, choose a calm, private moment. Focus on what you've noticed and how you feel, rather than accusations. "I've noticed you seem stressed and I'm worried about you" works better than "I know you have a gambling problem." Ask how you can help. Don't give money. Encourage them to seek support — and offer to help them find it.

Gambling and Pakistani Culture — An Honest Conversation

In Pakistan, gambling tends to be something people don't discuss openly. Whether it's a bet on a cricket match or a Ludo game with real stakes, there's a cultural tendency to keep these things private — which unfortunately also makes it harder to recognise when things have gone too far, and even harder to talk about it when they have.

BedPro wants to be direct: problem gambling is a real issue that affects people regardless of age, income level or background. It's not a character flaw or a moral failing — it's a pattern of behaviour that can develop in anyone, and like most such patterns, it responds well to early recognition and the right support. The reason it's important to talk about it plainly is that the stigma around gambling in Pakistani society often makes people reluctant to seek help until the problem has become serious. BedPro's responsible gaming programme is built around the idea that earlier intervention is always better.

What "Gambling Entertainment" Actually Means

Responsible gambling means treating gaming as a form of entertainment with a defined budget — the same way you'd buy a cinema ticket or eat out. The money you set aside for gaming is entertainment spending, not an investment. Wins are a bonus, not an expectation. When the budget runs out, the session ends. That's the healthy version, and it's the experience BedPro is designed to support.

Problems develop when the entertainment framing breaks down — when winning becomes necessary rather than pleasant, when the budget expands to meet the play rather than the play being constrained by the budget, when gaming stops being fun and becomes something you do automatically or compulsively. The tools on BedPro are specifically designed to maintain the entertainment framing and give you visible, immediate ways to enforce the limits that keep gaming enjoyable.

The Importance of Setting Limits Before You Need Them

The most effective use of BedPro's responsible gaming tools is to set them before you feel like you need them — not after a bad session. Setting a weekly deposit limit of Rs 2,000 when you're in a good frame of mind and gaming is fun is much easier than trying to stop yourself depositing for the fifth time at midnight after a losing run. The limit you set in a clear moment of judgment is the one that protects you in a less clear moment. We strongly encourage all BedPro players — regardless of whether they feel any concern about their gaming — to spend five minutes in their account settings configuring the limits that reflect their actual gaming budget.

Gaming on BedPro should always be something you look forward to, enjoy while you're doing it, and can walk away from without regret. If that's not consistently your experience, the tools on this page are here for exactly that reason — and the support team is here to help you use them.
